Classification and introduction of film covering process in packaging printing

film covering is a kind of product that combines the plastic film coated with adhesive and the paper printed matter after heating and pressurizing to form a paper plastic integrated product. It is one of the common post press processing processes for paper printed matter at present. For the printed matter covered with film, the standard requirements for the safety of the final product produced are put forward. A thin and transparent plastic film is added on the surface, which makes the surface more smooth and bright. It not only improves the gloss and fastness of the printed matter, but also prolongs the service life of the printed matter. At the same time, the plastic film plays a protective role of waterproof, antifouling, wear resistance, folding resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, etc. If transparent and bright film is used for laminating, the printed pictures and texts of the laminating products will be more colorful and three-dimensional, especially suitable for the packaging of green food and other commodities, which can arouse people's appetite and consumption desire. BASF will build a new designfabric center in Shanghai next year. If the matte film is used for laminating, the laminating products will give consumers a noble and elegant feeling with excessive force. Therefore, the coated packaging printing materials can significantly improve the grade and added value of commodity packaging. At present, common laminated packaging products include cartons, cartons, handbags, fertilizer bags, seed bags, self-adhesive labels, etc

according to the film covering process of paper printed matter, the film covering process can be divided into three categories: dry film covering method, wet film covering method and precoating film covering method

dry lamination is the most commonly used lamination method in China at present. It is to coat a layer of adhesive on the plastic film, then evaporate through the drying channel of the laminating machine to remove the solvent in the adhesive and dry it, and then glue it with the paper printed matter to form the lamination product under the hot pressing state

wet lamination method is to coat a layer of adhesive on the surface of plastic film, and when the adhesive is not dry, the lamination product is bonded with paper prints by pressing roller. Since the advent of the water-based laminating machine, the water-based laminating process has been popularized and applied, which is closely related to the characteristics of the wet laminating process, such as simple operation, less amount of adhesive, no organic solvent that destroys the environment, and the high strength, high grade and easy recovery of the laminating printed matter. At present, the laminating process is more and more favored by domestic packaging manufacturers, and has been widely used in gift boxes and handbags

precoating and laminating method is that the laminating manufacturer directly purchases the plastic film coated with adhesive in advance, and when laminating is required, the film is hot pressed together with the paper printed matter on the coating equipment that meets the standard ultrasonic nondestructive testing specifications to complete the laminating process. The precoating and coating process began in the 1990s. The precoating film is obtained by evenly coating the hot melt adhesive or low-temperature resin on the film substrate according to the design quantity through special equipment. The precoating and coating method eliminates the process links such as the mixing, coating and drying of adhesives. The whole coating process can be completed in a few seconds, which will not pollute the environment, have no fire hazards, and do not need to clean the coating equipment. At present, the process has been used in the field of medicine and food packaging
